A community of faith

seeking to love and serve

in the Spirit of Jesus Christ

Music at Holy Spirit

Music at Holy Spirit is a vital part of the worship

service.  St. Augustine said, “Those who sing, pray

twice.” The choirs are dedicated to leading the music

portion of the liturgy.  The purpose of the choirs is

not to entertain, but to sing praises to God.

Here is our current service music. Please click each one to listen:

Glory to God in the Highest S-278
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord S-128
Alleluia - Fraction Anthem- S155

Thanks to all of our choral musicians for their leadership in our weekly (and additional) services. If any children, youth, or adults are interested in joining choir, please email Jeff Daniel or speak with him at church.

Our Choirs - We currently have 4 choirs at Holy Spirit:
Our weekly rehearsal schedules are (September - May only):

Adult Choir – 11th grade and up
(Wednesday evening rehearsals – 7:30-9:00)

Youth Choir – 6th grade – 12th grade
(Sunday rehearsals 12:00 noon)

Children’s choirs – we now have two!
St. Cecilia Choir - 4 years old – 1st grade
St. Luke Choir - 2nd grade - 5th grade
(Both rehearse on Wednesday afternoon – 5:00-5:30)

Participation in choir is open to all.  There is always room for more voices in our choirs.  We also encourage instrumentalists to share their talent with the music program.

The Choristers Prayer
Bless O Lord, us your servants, who minister in your temple.
Grant that what we sing with our lips we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts we may show forth in our lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
