Youth Activities

The youth are off to a great start, with a good group showing up on registration day.  But it's never too late - please come to the official Sunday School Kick-off on Sunday, September 18th at 9:30 in the shed behind the church.  We will plan what types of activities we'd like to do in the upcoming year, and what special topics we'd like to study beyond the usual curriculum.  Kids from 5-12th grades can come check us out, and we will break it down according to age and interest.  Thanks so much and we're looking forward to a wonderful year!

2011 Vacation Bible School

Our VBS program for this year was called The Peace Village. We talked about the 5 major religions of the world and our similarities. For instance did you know that we all have a Golden Rule!

Our week of VBS was a lesson in love and understanding. We began each day in the sanctuary where we learned our Bible point of the day, and started the day off with singing. After the introduction we broke up into small groups and headed
off to our different learning centers: Art, Drama, Games, Snack and Movie.

After all the children completed the centers we met back in the sanctuary to review the day. VBS is always a wonderful week with fun activities and creative crafts to help us learn and grow in our knowledge and love of God.
